GPSS does not automatically create routing the way that Microsoft Streets & Trips (Auto Route in Europe) does.
It is possible to add route and turn-by-turn information, but this requires a good deal of detailed work. There are 2 levels - waypoint routing and turn-by-turn routing. There is also a means for importing turn-by-turn information from commercial applications that automatically produce routing.
Primarily for business use
Turn-by-turn guidance in GPSS is not really aimed at the enthusiast. Its primary purpose is to provide routes for deliveries, patrol rounds, and other tasks that need to be done consistently, time and time again; or for pursuit and other surveillance uses that are far beyond enthusiast approaches to the software.
